I don't know if this is a FRED issue or a RATS issue, but when I try to download some new series on FRED:

SMU41216600500000003SA SMU41389000500000003SA

I get this error:

## IO30. There is no series SMU4121660050000 on the file
## IO30. There is no series SMU4138900050000 on the file

But I can access the data via FRED directly, so I know it exists.

Unfortunately, those names are too long---22 characters when the limit is 16. You can copy them off onto a spreadsheet or RATS format file which will chop off the extra characters, but the direct DATA(FORMAT=FRED) won't work.
