Version 10

User's Guide

The User's Guide is organized by topic (such as “Vector Autoregressions” and “ARCH/GARCH Models”), and describes how to do most standard and many advanced analyses using RATS.

Introduction

The Introduction to RATS explains how RATS operates: explaining the interface, how RATS instructions and procedures work, and how to get information in to and out of the program. This is essential for someone who has not previously used RATS.

Reference Manual

The Reference Manual has an alphabetical listing of the instructions with descriptions of their parameters, options and output. Note that the HTML help now includes effectively all the information from the Reference Manual plus quite a bit more, such as descriptions of worked examples.

RATS Programming Manual, 2nd ed

The RATS Programming Manual goes into greater depth on the "programming" aspects of RATS.
