GRIDSERIES Procedure |
@GRIDSERIES creates a series with an evenly spaced grid of values.
@GridSeries(options) grid
Parameters
|
grid |
(output) series to be created |
Options
N=number of intervals [100]
FROM=lower limit
TO=upper limit
SIZE=size of intervals
At least two from FROM, TO and SIZE are needed to determine the grid. If you provide all three, then they will also determine the number of intervals so N will be ignored.
PTS=(output) number of grid points
Note that the number of grid points is one more than the number of intervals.
Examples
@gridseries(from=-6.0,to=6.0,size=.001,pts=gpts) xgrid
defines a grid running from -6 to +6 with an interval width of .001. XGRID will have 12001 points (GPTS will be equal to 12001).
stats(fract) xki
*
compute ngrid=200
@gridseries(from=%fract01,to=%fract99,n=ngrid) u
creates in the series U a 200 interval grid running from the 1%-ile to the 99%-ile of the XKI series.
