Shading for Multiple Periods in Time Series

Unread post by cmcknigh »

Hello,

I apologize if the answer to this is obvious somewhere (I could not find the specific answer in the manual or online)... I am looking to construct two vertical shaded bands for my time series graph. Specifically, the periods 2008:07:04 to 2009:08:07 and 2012:10:26 to 2014:10:03. How would I go about constructing stylenum for the shading=stylenum GPARM option? I have tried messing around with the SET instruction to create some sort of time interval but I am doing something wrong.

Thanks and cheers,

Curtis

Use an .or. to create two shading intervals:

set shade = t>=2008:07:04.and.t<=2009:08:07.or.t>=2012:10:26.and.t<=2014:10:03
