Help Menu

The Help Menu offers standard access to help, plus several other operations.

Checks the Estima web site for updates to procedure files posted after your version was released.

Searches files on your computer for text that you select, allowing you to find examples of various RATS instructions or procedures.

Monte Carlo-Gibbs Loop

Rolling Analysis

These provide wizards which set up the framework for a Monte Carlo or Gibbs Sampling loop, or for a Rolling Sample Analysis. You have to fill in the details of the computations (such as the calculations within the rolling sample analysis), but these set up the general framework surrounding those.

Checks whether there is a more recent build of RATS available to you. This is on the application menu on the Macintosh.
