Installing the Program

If you are reading this, you have probably already installed the program. If not, read "Installing RATS".

Starting the Program (Windows)

By default, the software launches automatically when you install. If you downloaded the software, that most likely put you into the Activation process (described below). See Where to Find It (Windows) to see where everything gets installed.

Starting the Program (Macintosh)

The installer by default puts the software into a folder within the Applications folder. You'll have to open that folder and double-click or open the "RATS" or "RATSPro" icon to start the program.

Activating the Software (Windows or Mac)

If you downloaded the software, you will probably have to activate it in order to use it. Please follow the instructions you received carefully. All software other than trials will run at least for 24 hours without requiring activation. Trials do not run until we process the activation; however, the trial period also doesn't start until the software has been successfully activated.
