UPDATE fileSeries beginEntry(expanded) endEntry(expanded)

Updates a single RATS data file series. UPDATE is rarely used, and thus is no longer documented in the Reference Manual.

Parameters

fileSeries	name of series on the RATS format file that you are updating
beginEntry	beginning year and period, separated by spaces. By default, the period after the current end of data.
endEntry	ending year and period, separated by spaces. By default, same as beginEntry

Example

dedit mydata.rat

update returns 2013 11 7 2013 11 11

98.1 100.1 104.3 102.3 99.6

save

This adds (or replaces) the data for 2013:11:7 through 2013:11:11 to the series RETURNS on the file MYDATA.RAT.
