Dialog Box: Change Standing |
The Change Standing dialog box pops up when you do Players>Change Standing... to allow you to override the automatic standings calculated from tie breaks (for instance, if you use a blitz game to break a first place tie). Pick one player from the Players Window and choose the Players>Change Standing... operation. This will show the dialog listing the player's name and a text box which is initialized with the current standing. Change that to the value that you want (or cancel if you decide you don't want to change it). For instance, in this example Xavier Whiteley was assigned 2nd place. If you want to assign him 1st place instead, change the value to 1. The standings of the other players will adjust—in this case, the person originally in 1st would be dropped to 2nd.

If you have a more complicated rearrangement, you may need to do more than one standing change. For instance, if you have a three-way tie for 1st through 3rd, and you want to change the order from A-B-C to C-B-A, you would need to change C to 1 (which would give you the order C-A-B, as A and B both drop one place), then change A to 3 or B to 2.
