Where to Find It (Macintosh)

On the Macintosh, the software will be installed in the Applications folder, in a directory called WinTD 5 or WinTD 5 Trial. The application itself is called WinTDOSX. Note that the help is built into the application on the Mac.

Everything else should be in /Users/Shared/WinTD. This includes the example files and a "Preferences" directory which has some sample preference files. Note that the MacOSX setup (beginning with 10.15) strongly encourages any "user" files (which would include any tournament or master files and the US Chess and FIDE databases) to be put into the /Users directories. An obvious place for all of those in directories within /Users/Shared/WinTD.
