Hi Tom
I hope that this is the correct forum for this post. Anyhow I was trying to replicate the results of this paper "Estimating Multi Country Vars"
BY Fabio Canova and Matteo Ciccarelli, the authors provide their replication codes on this website http://apps.eui.eu/Personal/Canova/Publications.html.
I get this error when running the code, ## OP9. Options MODEL and parameter list of equations May Not Be Used Together
smpl(reglist). I was wondering if you can assist me in understanding why this error comes up. I've attached the code and data fro you to look at if you have the time.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Allister

Re: Canova-Ciccarelli, Estimating Multi-country VAR Models
That's just a warning. However, the 1 to NVAR on the SYSTEM instruction isn't necessary (and never really was once the MODEL option was added to SYSTEM).
I've attached a cleaned up version which gets rid of the warnings and puts an infobox around the MCMC loop.
