old version CROSS

Unread post by ivory4 »

I read some old code using cross() series1 series2 -nstep nstep var3
I did not see declaration of nstep, so is it an old version?
In the manual it says there was ones but did not specify.
nstep=min(T/4,2sq(T))?

Thanks

The new way to do that is:

cross(from=-nstep,to=nstep,results=var3) series1 series2

No. If you leave off the FROM and TO, you get from -min(2sqrt(N),N/4) to +min(2sqrt(N),N/4)
