We have a problem with saved graphs in eps-format. Sometimes the left side and sometimes the right side of the graph is truncated. With GhostView and with Adobe (distiller) we get the same results. There seems to be a problem with the postscript driver used by WinRats (we use Version 8.2 from 2012/09/21). With version 7.3 we had no problems.

Is it possible that you had edited the prolog.pst file for the earlier version? If you want an A4 target you have to change the last line in the below to

/RGFHORZ where {pop} {/RGFHORZ -781.2 def/RGFVERT 10.8 def} ifelse

% For Letter size (11" x 8.5") (792 points x 612 points)
% -756 18 translate
% For A4 size (11.7" x 8.3") (842.4 points x 597.6 points)
% -781.2 10.8 translate
%
% For EPS import, use -(4th element in %%BoundingBox) 0
%
% If RGFHORZ and RGFVERT are not set above to the appropriate values
% the following line will define them.
%

/RGFHORZ where {pop} {/RGFHORZ -756 def/RGFVERT 18 def} ifelse
