Selecting Univariate Statistics Wizard from the Statistics menu brings up the following dialog box:

Series

Use this field to select the series for which you want to compute statistics.

Sample Start and End

Use these fields if you want to specify the start and/or end of the sample range. Leave these blank if you want to use the default range.

SMPL Series

To skip entries, you can you can select any existing series to be used as a SMPL series using the SMPL Series drop-down list or input an expression.

Basic Statistics

Extreme Values

Autocorrelations

Check the statistics that you want. Basic Statistics does a STATISTICS instruction, Extreme Values does an EXTREMUM, and Autocorrelations does a CORRELATE instruction.

Options for Autocorrelations

If you are computing correlations, use this section to control the calculation.

Number to Compute

Input the number of correlations you want to compute. By default, the number will depend upon the length of the series.

Correlations to

If you want to save the correlations into a series, set that here. (This can be a new series).

Partial Corrs to

If you want to save the partial autocorrelations into a series, set that here. (This can be a new series).

Estimation Method

Choose between Burg and Yule as the method for computing the correlations and partial autocorrelations.
