You can enter game results using either the Game Results dialog box or the "Quick Entry" keys. This section describes the dialog box method. See Quick Entry Keys for the other.
To enter game results using the Game Results dialog box:
- Double-click on a game in a Games Window, or select one or more games and choose the Games-Enter Scores operation. For help on creating a Games Window, see How To: Display a List of Games.
- Either method will pop up the Game Results Dialog Box, which has radio buttons for all of the possible outcomes. Choose your result and click on OK. This dialog box also lets you handle player withdrawals at the same time.
- If you selected more than one game before doing Enter Scores, WinTD will pop up new dialog boxes until all the selected games are done or you click on Cancel.
Notes
- If you want to exit a dialog box without entering a game result, just click on Cancel.
- If you need to change the result of a game from a previous round, you either need to create a Games Window for the old round (Section-List Games, Specific Round) or a Games Window which includes the games for one of the players (How To: Check a Player's Games). From that Games Window, you can fix results as described above. You can also fix a result from a earlier round by double-clicking on a game in a Players Window if it is formatted to include round information (see Edit-Change Layout...).
