How To: Correct Colors for a Game |
There are two ways to correct color assignments for a game:
Drag and Drop Switches
1.Create (or go to) a Games Window which includes the game in question. If the game was in a past round, see How To: Check a Player's Games.
2.Click on either player and drag the player to the other column (that is, from the white column to the black column, or vice versa) and release the mouse button. Make sure that you are dropping the player onto the same game and not onto another game (see How To: Correct the Pairings if you want to make more involved changes than just colors).
3.WinTD will ask if you really want to swap the colors for the two players. Answer yes to make the swap.
Dialog Box Method
1.Create (or go to) a Games Window which includes the game in question. If the game was in a past round, see How To: Check a Player's Games.
2.Select the game for which you want to swap the colors.
3.Do the Games>Correct the Colors operation. WinTD will prompt you with the new pairing. Click on OK to make the swap, or Cancel to abort the color swap operation.
If you have several swaps to make, select multiple games in step (2) and then do Games>Correct the Colors. WinTD will prompt you to confirm each of the color swaps individually.
Note that WinTD keeps track of results by player, not by color. Changing the colors on a board will have no effect on either player's score.
