Getting Started / Getting Started: The WinTD Menus / Window Menu |
The following operations are available from the Window menu.
Tile Horizontal
Arranges windows on the screen so they don't overlap. Resulting windows will generally have "landscape" proportions (that is, they will be wider than they are tall). This is usually the best choice for WinTD windows.
Tile Vertical
Arranges windows on the screen so they don't overlap. Resulting windows will generally have "portrait" proportions (that is, they will be taller than they are wide).
Cascade
Arranges windows in an overlapping fashion from top to bottom. The title bars of all windows will be visible.
Close Player Windows
Closes all open Players windows (except those tagged as "keep open"—see below)
Close Game Windows
Closes all open Game windows (except those tagged as "keep open")
Close Report Windows
Closes all open Report windows (except those tagged as "keep open")
Keep Open
Selecting this operation when a Players, Games, or Report window is active marks that window with a "keep open" tag. This will prevent that window from being closed by the Close Player Windows, Close Game Windows, or Close Report Windows operations described above. If the active window is already tagged as "keep open", selecting Keep Open will remove the tag.
Windows tagged as "keep open" can always be closed by doing File>Close, clicking on the window close box, or by selecting "Close" from that window's control menu.
List of Open Windows
At the bottom of the Window menu, WinTD displays a list of all open windows. You can switch to a window by selecting it from this list.
