Features |
The Features tab is available on the Tournament Info dialog and the Master Player Setup dialog. This controls only what specialized data WinTD will keep and does not restrict your ability to use (for instance) FIDE or US chess pairing rules for running a tournament.
There is no particular harm in choosing features that you aren't actually going to use, but adding features does make the Add/Edit a Player dialog box more complicated by adding tabs for the additional data. Note that you can always add features later either to a Master Player file (possible) or a tournament file (less likely).
The five features available are:
1.US Chess. The data kept are shown in the US Chess tab on the Add/Edit a Player dialog. The field names for import, export or player layout are "USCF.ID", "USCF.expiry", "USCF.regular", "USCF.quick", "USCF.blitz", "USCF.OLregular", "USCF.OLquick" and "USCF.OLblitz".
2.FIDE. The data kept are shown in the FIDE tab on the Add/Edit a Player dialog. The field names for import, export or player layout are "FIDE.ID", "FIDE.fed", "FIDE.title", "FIDE.byear", "FIDE.standard", "FIDE.rapid" and "FIDE.blitz".
3.Lichess. The data kept are shown in the Lichess tab on the Add/Edit a Player dialog. The field names for import, export or player layout are "lichess.ID", "lichess.auth", "lichess.classical", "lichess.rapid" and "lichess.blitz".
4.ICC. The data kept are shown in the ICC tab on the Add/Edit a Player dialog. The field names for import, export or player layout are "ICC.username", "ICC.standard", "ICC.rapid" and "ICC.blitz".
5.Chess.Com. The data kept are shown in the Chess.Com tab on the Add/Edit a Player dialog. The field names for import, export or player layout are "ChessCom.username", "ChessCom.standard", "ChessCom.rapid" and "ChessCom.blitz".
